"Creating fine art photography that reaches a good deal further than just taking beautiful photographs, Aggie Villanueva has accomplished a body of work that speaks volumes. Her canvas is the sweeping landscape of New Mexico, with the charm and magic of the Southwest as her muse, she ventures out equipped with a camera, the skill of a professional photographer, and the creativity of an artist.

Aggie Villanueva understands her territory; it is obvious that she has become one with the haunting beauty of New Mexico. A long hike might take her to the edge of a stream, or the foothills of a mountain, where she thoughtfully arranges her photographs.

The photographs are romantic and dramatic and oddly enough, although bereft of people, they seem filled with life, as if Aggie, through the lens of her camera is able to show us that the Earth is a true living thing – every bit of it."

Villanueva Donates Art to Community Hospice

While at my exhibit at the Foley Performing Arts Center, I was honored with the opportunity, along with many other artists from the Center, to donate our art to the Community Hospice of Baldwin County, AL.

My appreciation to the Foley Onlooker for publishing this and providing me with a copy.
