I was honored to be the guest on Shirley W. Mitchell's internet radio show, Aging Outside the Box, this Wednesday, August 5, 2009. The show airs to over 240 countries and an estimated two million listeners. Shirley and producer, Cruiser Small, are such warm hosts it's always a joy to be their guest.
And this time was really special for me because they both drove down the next day to attend the opening of my solo exhibit, my first exhibit in the state of friendly Alabama.
Not only that, I was joined during the interview by the curator at the Foley Performing Arts Center, Bonnie Blaylock, who is the dynamo behind not only my exhibit, but all their numerous events.
Thankx to my mother for making some memories of the evening.
